Back to School

It's that time of year when we all get back in the routine of school, homework, and all that. Joey says he hates the 3rd grade, but he is making very good grades and I really like his teachers. Joey is becoming more grown up lately. He is learning to say no to friend-pressure and standing up to bullies with self confidence. I'm proud of him.
Evan is all but walking. He is close. He is in daycare now (Elizabeth's Early Learning Center) and doing good. They tell me he laughs a lot and lights up when they play music. He is sick today with a virus or something. I hope he is better soon. For one, I am exhausted but mostly I hate seeing him feel bad.
Jonathan is busy working a lot of overtime and attending his math class at CVCC. He is keeping his halloween blog going strong...http://grimhollowhaunt.blogspot.com
We have the beginnings of a pumpkin growing on one of our pumpkin vines that Jonathan planted.
The neighborhood cat, Roscoe has suddenly taken up residence at our house. He must like our cat food or something. He remains an outside cat though! He sleeps under our porch along with a family of skunks that also have moved in.
I am going to be starting work on Sept. 30th. I will be doing another proposal for B&W. It will last for 2 1/2 months. The hours will be crazy, but aside from that, I really like the job and the people...and the pay! I am also applying to be a substitute teacher in campbell county so that I can have that to fall back on during these spells of no work.
Jonathan and I are going to Busch Gardens Sept. 26-28 for "Howl-O-Scream". We can't wait!
